And so it goes

And suddenly it's a week and then some since my last post. This is what happens when you are a complete procrastinator. This could be a problem, but I'm working on it. See, I actually came back this time! :D

So we commence with the best of highlight reel of the past week (or so):
--The Dark Side Campaign in Star Wars continues as the Dark Force Witch trials get underway. The party gets stranded in the wilderness and gets to fight off a bunch of monsters, levels up, and then watches as the DFW person goes into the final fights, almost loses, and has to be rescued with a well placed shot to the opponent (after much out of game deliberation by the sniper aka me).
--We went berry picking: picking a bushel of cherries, a few of blueberries, and a few pints of raspberries. We then made blueberry jam, raspberry jam, and canned the cherries.
--Back to work at the library, and I'm now being trained to check in books that have been returned in the Back Book-Drop, which is almost pointless in the long run except for those days where all the clerks are busy checking people out, then I won't be buried under the books that I'm checking.
--Continued my practice in driving, including parking on a (slight) hill in a manual transmission. More on driving at some other point, because oh the stories I have.
--Making my way through the rankings on our Rock Band, now able to complete about 10 songs on expert, most songs on hard, and the rest are all about 95% on medium (these all on guitar, can't play drums at all).

That's my week in a nutshell. A preview of the rest of this week includes:
--Red Wings game on Saturday night.
--Who knows what is now in store for our heroes (villains?) in the DarkSide Campaign? Having completed the DFW trials they can now ditch the planet that they've been on, report back to their boss, and maybe figure out what the heck is really going on. Plus they get to try out the new powers and skills learned on this planet (Knife throwing :D )
--Reading: I'll be working my way through my summer reading, now hopefully at a slightly faster pace now that it's August. I'll also be trying to finish Hey Ranger! which I've been reading for much too long, despite the fact that it is quite entertaining.

Again: apologies for the delay this past week, but I'm fully back and on this thing!
